Christmas is Coming

Johnna sang this in a Christmas program in 6th grade when we lived in Mechanicsburg PA. She went to school in Shermanstown...and this was one of thier songs from thier Christmas Program.

Tonight is my children's Christmas Program...we may not make it as they are both really coughing bad and Brianna got sent home from school. But I have been thinking about this song all day...it is an adaption from a nursery rhyme.

Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat
Please to put a penny in the old man's hat
If you haven't got a penny, a ha'penny will do
