Giving and Being Stingy....

Americans continue to give. Why? The nations affected by this horrible disaster support terrorism and yet we give. The picture above...focus on the guy with the Bin Laden T-shirt.

And what does the United States get in return for thier gifts? We get called Stingy and degraded by the world. Even by some American citizens! So, why do Americans reach deep into thier pockets and continue to give? Why does our government reach deep into our pockets and continue to give too?

America as a nation is a great deal like Christianity. Christians are degraded. Called names. They are treated like the bad guy. After all, here in America they are the evil majority. But despite the nasty things that are said, they continue to go into the world and do good deeds.

This sunday my church will be taking an offering to send to the Victems of the Tsunami. At this point the money raised across the United States is amazing. Private Citizens donating from thier own pockets.

Why? Because it is the right thing to do. It all boils down to that one line. What other people and nations think and say matters not. What does matter is doing what is right. Always, searching your heart and even if you help your enemy doing it because it is the right thing to do.

We are all human beings. We have different beliefs. We have different goals. But acting out of love can never be wrong. Despite the people you are trying to help, hating you.
