Last night we were watching the Exodus Decoded on the History channel..and the whole show is about how the exodus actually happened earlier then suspected by like 50 years and then the guy goes on to show archelogical evidence to support this claim.
One part of the show that struck me was...The Israelie slaves were the first to use an alphabetic writing. And so, they went to the slave mines to find writing of this type....to see where in the time period they found writing to prove it was during the time that the guy suspected...etc. etc. etc.. All that is not why I am posting this.
It is what was written there on that Cave/Mine. L was how they Called God. And What was written was "L. Save Me". I was struck by the thought... Is that not our prayer still today? "Lord, Save me" We cry out today just as our forefathers to our faith cried out. And God heard thier prayers by sending Moses. No matter what happens in our life, God will hear our prayers as well.
